Cherry Dump Cake

Ingredients:

Glass baking dish (approx 8 inches x12 inches or 9 x 13)

Nonstick cooking spray or butter, for greasing the baking dish

2 cans of cherry pie filling

1 box yellow cake mix

1 stick (8 tablespoons) unsalted butter, melted

Instructions:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Grease glass baking dish with cooking spray or butter
  • Pour cherries into greased baking dish
  • Evenly distribute the cake mix over the cherries
  • Evenly drizzle the melted butter on top
  • Bake until firm and golden brown (about 30 - 40 minutes)
  • Let sit and cool for 5 minutes
