Vocational Visions is a non-profit agency located in
Mission Viejo, CA which provides vocational and life skills training and
support services to adults with developmental disabilities. Vocational
Visions has been in partnership with the Saddleback Valley Unified School
District since 1974 when the program began with 30 clients and a staff
of five. We currently have over 415 clients and a staff of 100, comprised
both of SVUSD teachers and instructional aides and corporate employees.
Vocational Visions is accredited by the Commission on
Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities and is the only facility-based
program in southern Orange County. We offer several distinct programs
to meet the wide variety of needs experienced by adults with developmental
disabilities. These programs include the Day Training Acitivity Program,
Health related Services Program, Emeritus Program, Adult Developmental
Program, Work Activity Program, Special Needs Program, Vocational Rehabilitation
Work Activity Program, Supported Employment Program and South County Clubhouse.

Affiliated with Saddleback Valley Unified School District,
Adult Education Department. Several staff members are teachers or instructional
aides.
Funded by Regional Center of Orange County and the Department
of Rehabilitation. These two agencies provide referrals and support.
Supported and audited by the United Way of Orange County.

Vocational Visions has won several awards including the
following:
- 1998 "Agency of the Year" award presented by the Orange
County United Way.
- 1997 "Programs of Excellence" award presented by the State
of Calif. Dept. of Education.
- 1997 O.C. Regional Center "Spotlight" awards for "Professional
Achievement" and "Community Partnerships".
- Highest accreditation by C.A.R.F. since inception.
